About Gilim Rugs

Glim is a type of lint-free mat that was a preface to waving fluffy carpets, which gradually became popular among the primitive tribes by animal husbandry and wool spinning, and is considered one of the first tribal arts and crafts. Archaeological excavations have uncovered evidence of weaving in the Iranian plateau or artifacts dating back 8,000 years.
